Teks Prosedur merupakan teks yang menjelaskan cara melakukan atau membuat sesuatu melalui serangkaian tindakan atau langkah. Langkah-langkah tersebut harus dilakukan dengan runut sesuai urutan nomor agar hasilnya sesuai dengan yang dikehendaki.

Teks prosedur dapat berupa cara membuat ataupun menggunakan sesuatu seperti, manual (petunjuk pemakaian, petunjuk pemasangan dll), resep masakan, langkah kerja percobaan/expreimens dan tutorial (cara mengedit, photoshop, dll)

Broccoli and Shrimp with Oyster Sauce

Ingredients:

·         ¼ kg shrimp, peeled and wash

·         2 bunches broccoli, wash and cut into floret

·         Cooking oil

·         1 clove onion, sliced

·         4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

·         6 chilies, chopped

·         3 tbsp oyster sauce

·         Salt and sugar

·         Water

Steps:

1.      Heat the cooking oil in a skillet and saute the garlic until fragrant

2.      Add the chilies and stir-fry until wilted

3.      Add the shrimp and broccoli. Cook for about three minutes

4.      Add a little water, sugar, salt, oyster sauce and onion. Stir evenly and cook for five minutes more.

5.      Remove from the skillet and serve the broccoli and shrimp with oyster sauce.

How to make Bregedel Tempe (Tempe (Fritters)

A. Ingredients

Here are the ingredients to make Bregedel tempe, as follow:

a. 150 g tempe

b. 2 tablespoons fried shallots

c. 3 kaffir lime leaves

d. 1 tablespoon flour

e. 1 egg

f. 1 cup vegetables oil for frying.

And to make the spice paste, you need:

a. 3 large chillies, seeds removed

b. 3 small chillies

c. 2 red shallots

d. 2 cloves garlic.

e. 1/2 teaspoon choopped galangal

f. 1 candle nut

g. 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds.

h. 1/2 teaspoon salt

i. 1/4 teaspoon shrimps paste

B. Steps.

Here are the some steps to make Bregedel Tempe

1. Mash the tempe with a fork or place in the bowl of a food processor and blend until it resembles coarse bread crumbs.

2. Grind the spices in a mortar and pestle or place in the bowl of a processor and blend to a smooth paste.

3. Put the mashed tempe in a bowl and mix the spice paste, fried shallots and lime leaves. Stir in the flour, followed by the egg.

4. Shape the tempe into fritters the size of golf ball and flatten a little with a fork

5. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over a medium flame. When the oil is hot, drop the fritters into the oil. five or six at a time.

6. Fry until golden brown on both sides, drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with rice.

3. Steps/ methods : tell the readers about chronological steps on how to make something. It is contain of the steps to make something in the goal. For example, first, boil the water, second, pour the sugar and so on.

4. Language features: language features of a procedure text are, as follow

a. The use of imperative sentence

b. The use of noun phrase

c. The use of conjunctions
